Updating the latest trends in Sports Medicine at the 16th Thailand Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (TOSSM) Annual Meeting

From July 2–4, 2026, Dr. Vu Anh attended the 16th Thailand Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (TOSSM 2026) Annual Meeting – one of the region's leading prestigious scientific events in the field of sports medicine, organized by the Sports Medicine Section of the Royal College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of Thailand.

The conference brought together numerous experts, physicians, and researchers from across the region and the world to exchange clinical practice experiences and update on the latest advancements in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports injuries. This is an important scientific forum, contributing to the advancement of the sports medicine specialty through knowledge sharing and international professional networking.

TOSSM 2026 Side Workshop: Updating Trends in Joint Preservation and Restoration

Alongside the main conference program, Dr. Vu Anh participated in a specialized workshop dedicated to Vietnamese orthopedic surgeons focusing on joint preservation and restoration in athletes and active individuals – a topic of significant interest in current clinical practice.

The workshop was chaired by Dr. Tang Ha Nam Anh, with the participation of many experienced physicians in the fields of orthopedics and sports medicine. Here, Dr. Vu Anh presented a thematic report on joint and ligament preservation and restoration methods, focusing on optimizing athletic function, shortening recovery time, and supporting patients in safely returning to sports activities at the earliest.

Following the presentations, a discussion session took place featuring practical insights from the experts' treatment experiences. These multidimensional professional exchanges provided valuable perspectives on conservative treatment strategies, rehabilitation, and solutions to help athletes and sports participants maintain long-term mobility and minimize the risk of re-injury.
